Letters to Father Christmas

Children in Reception walked along to the Post Office to post off their letters to Father Christmas. Mrs Wilkins, the Postmistress was there to welcome them and had the special Christmas post box ready.

The children enjoyed writing their letters using their 'Fred Fingers' to spell with the sounds they have learned since starting school. They then put on a special stamp, addressed their letter to Father Christmas in The North Pole and are now looking forward to receiving a reply...

A special thank you to Mrs Wilkins for her lovely welcome and to Frankie's (in Oak) mum and grandma who helped us to arrange the visit.

It only takes post for the man himself at The North Pole!
