Year 4 had another great Egyptian Day this week. Children and staff all came to school dressed as Egyptian pharaohs, archaeologists, mummies, gods and goddesses.
They spent the day learning all about Ancient Egypt with 'Mr Egypt' and taking part in fun and educational activities, including making 'real' mummies...
They were also able to hold a variety of artefacts that were nearly 4000 years old. This green spoon was found in a tomb and has actually touched a pharaoh's mouth as part of the 'Opening of the Mouth' ceremony. Children had the chance to hold that spoon, which was amazing!
